I started this blog because I, like thousands of you out there, am dying to write a book. I want to write a book about whatever comes to mind, and most often, my relationship with my wife is on my mind.

I would love to tap the muses of my favorite authors – Kathleen Norris, Annie Dillard, Bill Bryson, Anne Lamott, and David Sedaris. But alas, I can only write from my own limited ink well of talent.

So these are my beginnings. You can expect the writing to be unpolished as I intend to use the blog a means to maintain some sort of disciplined writing schedule while enjoying the fun of having whatever readers happen along. I expect that you will find a handful of interesting posts here amid a heap of complete rubbish, because I believe that to be the nature of writing.
